Starrett Magnetic Base Universal Indicator Holder, EDP 64436 – 657-1

This versatile indicator holder has three pivots available for positioning the indicator where needed. All pivots are controlled by one tightening knob. Universal Indicator Holder with No. 657 with 657P/ 657S/PT17850.

• Works with any indicator with a 1/4″ (6.3mm) shank (such as our 196 Series)
  
• Works with any indicator with a 3/16″ (4.7mm) shank (such as our 708, 709, 811 and 711 Series)
  
• Works with any indicator with a body clamp (such as our 711 Series)
  
• The working area is within a hemisphere having a radius of approximately 12″ (300mm)
  
• The very sensitive fine-adjustment is located on the magnetic base to eliminate indicator deflection when it is being adjusted
