The 6″ Standard Soil Compaction Split Mold holds a volume of1/13 Cu Ft. It may be used with theAutomatic Mechanical Soil Compactors and with manual soil compactors.Mold has vertical split in body with 2 quick-acting clamps for easy removal of specimen. Steel base plate is 8″ x 8″ x 1/2″ thick.

Mold is 4.584in (116.4mm) in height with detachable extension collar and base plate and is plated for rust resistance. This split type mold separates longitudinally for easy sample removal.
