Compaction Permeameters use plated density molds and collars that meet requirements for conventional 4in (102mm) or 6in (152mm) Proctor soil compaction molds. These versatile permeametersperform falling head or constant head soil permeability tests. Anodized aluminum upper and lower plates secure the mold and collar, and are fitted with inlet / outlet valves, connectors, and an air bleed valve to allow the flow of water through the compacted sample. The necessary tubing, two porous stones, and sealing rings are included.
A Single Tube Manometer is required and is purchased separately. Reservoirs and other accessories are also purchased separately. Additional Soil Density Molds are available to speed up the sample preparation process.
