The 2in Fixed Ring Consolidometer is for specimens 2 x 0.75in (50.8 x 19mm) Dia. x H, and is equipped with an attached acrylic inundation ring, loading pad, and collar with lifting knobs. Other components include a cutting sample ring, 1.985in diameter top and 3.31in diameter bottom porous stones, and loading ball. Included components are also available as replacement products.

Consolidometers measure soil specimens for strength and for estimation of potential settlement of pavements and structures.
