Carl Hirschmann, Inc. ControFil 2 Wire EDM Corrosion Inhibitor & Cleaner, 5 Gallon – CONTROFIL2-5

H 2 0 ControFil 2 was developed for use in wire EDM machines to prevent undesirable corrosion of work pieces and to continuously help keep the machine clean. Once added to the system,H 2 0 ControFil 2 allows more dirt and waste products to be captured by the filtration system, this helps keep the entire machine cleaner.

H 2 0 ControFil 2 is generally recommended for new machine installations where tank walls, filters, hoses, etc. are free of contamination.

H 2 0 ControFil 2 is added to the de-ionized water in a container outside the machine and thendivided equally between the dirty-water and clean water tanks. A concentration ratio of 0.5 to 100 guarantees optimal rust proofing and cleaning.

When used in existing installations, H 20 ControFil 2 will clean tank walls, hoses, etc. of contamination and may require premature changing of filters after approximately 40 hours of operation.

Once the system is clean, use of H 2 0 ControFil 2 will continue to keep the system clean and offer corrosion inhibiting capabilities.
